If you saw our Instagram post yesterday, you’ll know we’re still very much in the mood to celebrate women since International Woman’s Day swooped by last Monday. Yes, we named quite a few of our favorite travel bloggers killing the scene right now. Well, today we’re amping it up and bringing you 10 female BIPOC travel bloggers you should be following. Not only will you find the perfect addition to your Instagram follow list and your next favorite blogger but it’ll also help you to become a more mindful and inclusive content consumer.

Oneika Raymond – Oneika the Traveller

Oneika is a journalist and travel blogger originally from Toronto but based in New York City. Her captivating blog Oneika the Traveller is bursting with opinion pieces and travel blogs brimming with helpful advice and information for the 100 countries (wow) she’s explored. Oneika also talks about what it’s like to travel as a Black woman, and her honest, thought provoking pieces build a specific picture that’s interesting to learn from.

Sabatini – My Tasteful Ventures

Sabatini is a foodie and a traveler on a budget, which is why she created her blog My Tasteful Ventures. In her own words, her blog includes ‘travel hacks, drool-worthy foods, money making tips, blogging tips and so much more‘. Sabatini is a Virtual Assistant when she’s not scouring the globe for her next destination, where she finds inspiration from the countless memories she makes along the way as well as the new cultures she gets to explerience.

Christen – Travel Wander Grow

Christen’s blog Travel, Wander, Grow focuses on mid-tier travel, history and cultural experiences all around the globe. Based in Washington, but a citizen of the world, Christen has plenty of fantastic travel tips up her sleeve, but she’s also pretty good with money, and offers plenty of insight and tips on traveling on a budget, and how to save up for your dream vacation.

Stacey Marlene – Deafinitely Wanderlust

Stacey Marlene is the face behind Deafinitely Wanderlust. In her own words, she states that she didn’t believe that traveling was something she could accomplish due to her disability:

“A Deaf broke-ass female with anxiety, me? Even I’ve been called a codo (Mexican slang for someone who is a cheapass). I truly once believed that my only way to travel was being with my family or traveling locally.

After losing a close aunt of mine, I realized that I only have una vida (one life). One of my biggest fears was becoming a bitter old woman with many regrets – the Whys and the What ifs. I then took a big leap of faith. I traveled to countries where I am privileged not having to break my bank: Asia and Latin America.”

Dominican Abroad is the brainchild of Gerry Isabelle, a Dominican-American who lives in the Bronx. Her captivating blog covers everything from sustainable travel, to exploring local cultures wherever you land, as well as travel guides and curated experiences to help you get the most out of your trips. Gerry’s blog is all about serving her community, and opening our eyes educationally, so that we can be the best possible travelers possible.

Sarah Greaves-Gabbadon is the face behind travel, fitness and style Instagram account JetSetSarah and her blog of the same name – and hey, she’s definitely one to watch if you’re a fan of the Caribbean. She’s the pro with the travel guides to prove it.

Sarah’s talents don’t stop at blogging – in fact she’s an expert journalist and television host, and her wardrobe is to die for if you’re into prints and color. Give her a follow and discover everything the Caribbean has to offer – as well as some style tips to put you ahead of the game.

 

Francesca – One Girl One World
